You might not have heard -- and it's vaguely on topic -- that a law in
California recently went into affect that prohibits shipment to the state
of computers that a.) won't suspend/hibernate and b.) use too much power
when suspended or hibernating. There are exceptions, but they require you
to hire a lawyer for your tech support. Dell isn't shipping certain
Alienware machines (who would want one?) to California as a result.
