I'm thinking of changing to Debian testing (aka wheezy at the moment).

Questions:
1 Can I change to 'testing' (wheezy) and still use the existing trinity
packages for 'squeeze', as above? I am, at present, quite happy with
Trinity 3.5.12
2 Are there any 'unexpected consequences' of doing this?
3 If there are problems with this approach, what is a better way?

Some expected consequences: TDE is compiled for Squeeze, does not work well with
Wheezy. The next releseof TDe will have Wheezy support.
You do not mention any compelling reasons/need to upgrade to Wheezy, personally I
like Debian stable (up to v. 6.04), esp with regards to running TDE.
