Since this conversation appears to have gone off the rails already -- at least three or four "leaps" in thought beyond the original question and header -- I am starting a new thread. There is nothing to be gained in trying to explain to outsiders just *why* I believe that I need so much, because they won't ever get it no matter how well I explain it to them. For the present, I must try to limit myself to keeping things that will actually fit inside my living space; otherwise, there will be nowhere for me to rest my head at night. Bill
