Thought I'd send the link around again so everyone can hit the page and keep Distrowatch's page rank up. :)
David, I see you've posted a couple newer Wheezy ISOs, 25-Jan-2013 and 30-Jan-2013. Are these different enough from the 10-Jan-2013 ISO to warrant a download?
In the last few days I've installed the 10 Jan ISO on an HP laptop and a Gateway netbook with excellent results on both. The netbook was quite sluggish with Windows XP but is almost snappy with Exe.
Exe is getting updated fairly often now, as wheezy gets closer. Maybe every couple of weeks or sooner if new stuff is added or a bug is found. Newer images will have all updated Debian packages and TDE from Slavek's repo of the marked date.
I meant to post this but got busy recently. More updates soon.
Apart from updates to existing stuff the latest addition is gtk-youtube-viewer (YouTube with no browser, no flash) and installer/snapshot improvements. A (minimal) XFCE has replaced LXDE as alternative desktop. Some language support improvements, more to do.
Loaded a few netbooks with Exe recently, I'm not surprised Debian+TDE beats XP for performance!
No need to reinstall, just do regular dist-upgrades till it's all officially "stable"
Newer "unofficial" packages can be found at http://exegnulinux.net/apt/ That repo is actually preconfigured in /etc/apt/sources.list.d but only Debian and TDE official repos are enabled by default
