Downloaded that, will not boot on the AMD hardware.  See my earlier

Very surprising to find PC hardware today that have difficulties in booting linux...

and the Fedora 17 tde livecd is at: 3.5.4

 Downloaded F17 this AM -- it has kernel 3.4.4-5.fc17.x86_64 which 

can be booted into a text-only terminal. No doubt, if I was smart enough, it could be upgraded to 3.5.4, but without any GUI it is way beyond my limited capabilities. :-(

Oops, forgot to mention this detail: On the Trinity desktop environment website, go in the LiveCDs section (in the top part of the website), then you'll find the Fedora livecd with Trinity 3.5.13.1 Thanks! -Alexandre
