Re. Fetchmail, I was trying Trinity solely for KMail's freedom from
Akonadification, and I shall stay with KMail for the time being, though
- for the time being - not in Trinity.

as in my case, my email provider "updated" his software and I had to work
around.
Anyway, there are some other nice email clients around if you do not want to
go the fetchmail road.
