I've got Alexander Couture's tde port to
pclinux on an Acer Aspire One
725-0802 and am encountering a couple of issues.
when I try to change the resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x720, I get a
"kcmshell signall 11" error. the resolution does change but does not
survive a boot.
this netbook has several other distros all happy with this resolution.
any thoughts?

Hi!
On PCLinuxOS, the main place to go to change the display resolution is in the PCLOS
Control Center (right beside the Synaptic icon on the taskbar). In the Hardware section,
click on ''Configure video card''
I don't know exactly why, but it doesn't always work as it should when it is made
at other places...
