PDF capability is a primary concern here. Not sure how all the parts work together but I track ,ghostscript, poppler, and the various apps that use them.
I never know why a pdf someone sends me can not be opened, so I try to be as current as possible with pdf and releated software. 'About:kpdf- based on xpdf 2004-2005,'
Does Okular improve compatability or is it more the underlying libraries.?
