the number of downloads of "kde-trinity"?

This is currently unknown but is expected to be upwards of 1000 users
based on download volume from one of the mirror sites. An unofficial
goal
of 3.5.13 is to get better statistics/tracking into place so that we can
get a better estimate of this number.

I really think we can only have rough estimates about that kind of
information. Even the
Debian project cannot count the number of installed distros:
1 iso download=1, 10, ..., N installations?
1 aptitude update/upgrade = 1, 10, ..., N upgrades (via apt-cacher)?
In fact this is a really difficult question to ask. Of course, with
better tracking
tools, the estimations will become more precise or cover particular
topics, but still...
Tools such as "The Linux Counter" (
http://counter.li.org/) also exist but
require at least
a manual intervention (then a script can be used). Debian also have a
package popularity
contest (
http://popcon.debian.org/), etc. and all of these things are
really fun indeed!
