Is the consensus of opinion that 10.5.12 is steady and rock solid enough for me it give it to someone else (a definite non-geek)? I get the impression that 10.5.13 is still not bug-free enough for Just Using.

i am using 3.5.12 as my main workstation, I have had more success with it.
Not sure if the TDE repo's have been updtated with Slávek Banko's fixes for 3.5.13. If not, a user would have to add an extra sources.list entry, which they would have to find.. it is not on the TDE page, afaikt.

I am using 3.5.13 with Slavek Banko's fixes branch. This has been very stable for me.
