kpdf-part is for opening files in konqueror directly, if you want
to. kpdf-trinity is the right one - the standalone app. /var/lib/dpkg/info/kpdf-trinity.postrm
Does that look like a good install? I don't see anything in a *bin
at all.
On my system (preliminary stable builds for Debian, TDE R14.0.6) the
binaries are in:
/opt/trinity/bin/
Also, the binary for kpdf is called just "kpdf", that is:
/opt/trinity/bin/kpdf HTH
