Hi HHa,
what do you mean with "not active". When I press alt+F2 the "execute
command" window appears and is active (has the focus). It immediately
allows me to type a command name, although the mouse cursor is not over
this window.

I have experienced an issue from time to time where the run dialog is not
focused when it appears. Usually this happens when another application
immediately takes the focus back from the run dialog. If I have time I
might look into the problem, as it can be quite irritating.
By the way, which Trinity versions are both of you running?
