Simplest? sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
dist-upgrade upgrades ALL packages. This is a level harder!
If one is asking aptitude to upgrade a particular version of a particular
package, surely one has to name the package as well as the version? And the
version one wants, not the version one has??
Man, my message was not just 'a guess'. It was real command that was
really run and really brought good result. I've done upgrade with it.
