konqueror problem

I have a wee little problem. konqueror no longer opens links in a displayed web page. Instead it pops up, viz: Open 'http://jonz.tst/W3DHJ/vhfrover.php'? Type: HTML Document [Save As] [Open with 'kwrite'] [Cancel] And _sometimes_ , very rarely, I can successfully "Open in New Tab". But, even the "New Tab" will most likely present me with ONLY the 'kwrite' popup option. Backstory: This seems to have occurred when I visited a web site with konqueror via sftp://. I wanted to edit a file, and right clicked on it, and as usual, I clicked on the "Open With..." option - and chose 'kwrite'. But, this time to my grief, I clicked the "Always Open this file type..." (or, some text to that nature...) button. I believe that's what caused my current problem. What I've done to try to fix it: I've drilled down through [Settings]>[Configure konqueror] and can find nothing that affects this behavior. I've grep'ed -R for 'kwrite' in the ~/.trinity/ directories and see no hits that would be associated with my problem. I'm sure others here have bumped into this and know the way free of the problem.
