FWIW. I added the Trinity repositories to the 64-bit Mint install using the instructions at ...
<http://www.trinitydesktop.org/wiki/bin/view/Documentation/UbuntuBi naryInst allation> but only got the dreaded "404 not found" message
when I tried to "apt-get update" - bugger! Where have the repos gone? G.
Which distribution you wrote in the apt source?
quantal because that is indicated in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.list for Mint-14 Should I have used "precise"? Is it possible/advisable to mix precise with quantal?
Perhaps there are not yet trinity repos for qantal?
No big deal. It is just my desire to have a working TDE on the "new" laptop, but I can wait. G.
For Quantal is not yet official release in stable branch. You can use apt source with preliminary packages for 3.5.13.2. See:

Thanks Slávek. Excuse my ignorance, but what are the actual exact lines to add to the sources.list(s) to point to these? Thanks in antic, Glen
Currently, it is for Quantal one source, where is everything:
