Agreed. I had it in KDE3. It was also there in
early TDE. But
when TDE changed the hidden folder from .kde to .trinity this
problem arose. Hence Thierry's advice to someone who is migrating
upwards from 3.5.11 - and still has his mails in ~/Mail. I wonder
when, who, on which paths wrote the config change in? I have just
followed up both Debian and TDE, and had to do the migration one
way or another for myself - this list helped a lot. Prior to that
I too just copied ~/Mail from one installation to another.
I'll have to search the archive (mine and TDE's) to see if I can
find the correspondence.
I'm on 14.0.2 (Mint) and I've still my mails in ~/Mail and I cannot
remember, that I had to do something unusual from 13.* to 14.0.
