Hi all!
I've switched to TDE not long ago, it works fine, though
I experience some problems.
First of all, layout switching.
I set setxkbmap -option -option grp:ctrl_shift_toggle in the Xkb options
tab, but this feature doesn't seem to work, CTRL+Shift does nothing
with layouts.
keyboard layout must be configured in TDE. By default switching is done via
CTRL+SHIFT+k, however I remapped it to CTRL+SHIFT+right arrow, because "k"
does not work in non latin keyboard.
Second, is there some option for TDE menu to show
submenus in one
column, like MS Windows did for the Start menu? My Settings submenu
fills the entire screen and I don't know what to do.
Perhaps you can provide screenshot - in my setup it shows up in 1 column.
Please also provide version and layout information
Third, is it possible to close windows by
double-clicking the icon
in the upper left corner? I don't find such an option.
From your questions I think you have to configure your window manager
properly or you are missing something. I use "Plastik" and double click on
the left behaves the same as windows -> close. One click -> same as windows
menu with options (foreground, background, desktop etc)
