Sadly it recurred just now, and 'Leave Messages on Server' is still disabled.
More seriously, shortly after that when KMail received incoming emails they were shown (in Inbox) with *empty* Subject, Date, From, and To fields, with the Source of the message as the Body... (This included a test email that I sent to myself.)
However, after logging out and back in again, the situation has reverted to normal.
Has anyone seen such a thing before? I haven't.
As KMail (1.9.10) was my main reason for trialling Trinity (3.5.13.1), I am becoming very uneasy with its stability*, and am considering giving up on Trinity - which I do not want to do..
(* I've noticed that KMail tends to misbehave immediately after the spurious "Unable to comoplete LIST operation' warning.)
It appears that this could be the same as the bug 737:
http://bugs.pearsoncomputing.net/show_bug.cgi?id=737
I'll try to apply the patch mentioned in this bug message.
