Actually live-build is the proper tool for the job, creating a totally
clean build using debootstrap and a chroot. Refractasnapshot is not
intended as a replacement for live-build, it is an easy-to-use GUI
method to produce a working live-image from an existing installation.
Debian's live-config mechanism does not support TDE
(live-session-specific configs for autologin, kpersonalizer, locale,
language, sudo...) however does support additional custom scripts like
live-config-trinity.
Of course whatever installer you use must reverse some of those edits
(tdmrc and others).
RE Sid: Slavek's Jessie binaries work fine here at the moment. In the
past the crucial ones depended on a specific binutils version which
broke them for Sid.
