I think that it's because you took the 64bit version. The 32 bit version is the one I have downloaded in November
OK, Alexandre, will download and try the 32-bit one. Takes a couple of hours on this slow connection. Will post the results.
We'll end up understanding what the other means... :)
FWIW. I added the Trinity repositories to the 64-bit Mint install using the instructions at ... http://www.trinitydesktop.org/wiki/bin/view/Documentation/UbuntuBinaryInstallation but only got the dreaded "404 not found" message when I tried to "apt-get update" - bugger! Where have the repos gone? G.
I don't know much about debian-derived distros but maybe you should check again later, maybe the servers were down?
