There were good points, but I didn't particularly like it long term. Of course, I haven't actually run it for a while, so I may be out of date, but the same, I suspect, applies to your experience of Debian. If you visit the forum you'll see endless complaints about the apps no longer working. The problem with PCLos is the *rolling updates* that tend to muck things up. Rather than updating/configuring everything at once, they update the libraries one-at-a-time and this leads to the conflicts.
