I rather thought so, but I don't deal with multiple users; except on rare
occasions, that is, when I use other people's computers, or public computers.
No, not real users although I do run some things as their own user just
for sandboxing.
Interestingly looooooong list of root owned stuff, all dated Juner 17
2016, which is the date I installed wheezy IIRC.

And while I know it only takes 1 to screw it up, 7927 files here in
my /home/gene directory does sound excessive.
