Take the mail that comes from "trinity-users@..." and unsubscribe. Same thing happend to me some days ago :)

What I meant was, *your* headers are reversed.
TDE-users has trinity-users as "reply to" address; trinity-users has TDE-users and Nik (if I recall) as "reply to" addresses.
It is not a problem with the list, but I think Nik is sending out too much information on the old list. In the new list, his "reply to" gives the old list. I'm not complaining about the list; I am pointing out those details that Nik might not want.
Myself, I keep trying to make an email template, just for use on TDE-users, and I give sample screenshots here. But when I've attempted to send recent emails to the list, they stay in my outbox, and I am told that they cannot be sent due to unknown mail transport or something. I believe that means my Zoho mail account is being rejected for smtp, or is rejecting my emails to TDE-users, or something.
This is why I do not like change; even though I do know that it will happen despite all my best efforts to maintain order.
Bill
Hm ... mail harvesters scan the whole header, so there's no point in hiding the obviouse, I think :)

Hi Nik,
What are you doing different than everyone else?
I keep getting your mails with,
From: "Dr. Nikolaus Klepp" <office@{delete}.{delete}>
and not like:
From: "Michael via tde-users" users@trinitydesktop.org From: "Slávek Banko via tde-users" users@trinitydesktop.org
You're messing up my KMail filters, so fix it! Or I'll sick Kate on you, I'm soon to be her pet I hear ;) {Pet status has some privileges, right?}
That's funny. I just hit "l" in kmail, type my stuff and send it. If my email got deleted on my side of the transfer, then I'd get a bounce from my provider. So some gremlin is eating my domain name - just whoe does dislike me that much?
Playing echo box: I get the mails from users@trinitydesktop.org with my complete email inside the mail header, so "from" is "Dr. Nikolaus Klepp" office@klepp.biz. This raises an even more interesting question: why is my email address changed on the path from ML to your mail client? Is it only my email? Who else has that problem?
Nik
The mailing list (mailman3) is set so that the sender's information is changed only if keeping it unchanged could be the cause of a delivery problem - for example due to SPF, DKIM signature, etc.
Therefore, you can see that some sender addresses remain unchanged and for some "via tde-users" is added and the mailing list address is used as the sender's address.
For filtering, it is best to use the "List-Id" header, which is always set the same - regardless of whether DMARC mitigation is used or not.
I've heared rumours about Kate building voodoo dolls. Aren't pets part of these dolls? Or was that chickens? ... I remember, chicken blood was art of the game. And when it's set ... can be used in deliciouse dishes of the "Hirn auf Ei" (brain on egg) kind ... now I'm hungry ...
Nik
Best, Michael
Cheers
