I think it's not what I need. As I understand it, we have:
application -> alsa calls -> alsa backend -> hardware
or
application -> oss calls -> alsa-oss -> alsa backend -> hardware
But Sunray sound kernel module supports only OSS backend:
application -> oss calls -> SunRay sound module -> Sunray
If "SunRay sound module" is a kernel module, then you've bad luck. As I
understand it OSS is not a beloved child on linux.
