I just happen to have a wierd problem on a T61p + wheezy: kpowersave was running, but no battery or cpu information was shown. As it is, hald does not start. When I put a "lshal" in rc.local, hald is running and anything works fine. So my question is, why does this happen? I way quite surprised, because the same image runs on a T60p (which is quite the same hardware) and there hald is running by default.
