I was about to find out the type of my videocard and startet Kinfocenter. I get INfos in the main window (TDE version 3.5.13, user, linux/kernel, and arch i386), but the left window is completly blank (the search also returns nothing). Do I miss a package, which is needed by kinfocenter?

Thanks. Indeed there it is. two minor things: -why is it possible to start kinfocenter from commandline? -controlcenter crashes when calling peripherals->monitor and Displays

So why is kinfocenter still there? Or is its presence one of the bugs that have been complained of? Anyhow, it is easy enough just not to launch it!
