I rebooted, and took step by step photos of how I installed Debian. ( PS that email is stuck in moderation due to its size)
Rebooted
logged back in and nothing would open like the CHRIS folder or the trash can.
I had earlier today ( a couple hours ago ) sat Thunar as my default file manager, and everything was working GREAT!
I switched everything back to Konq but now I am getting " DCOP ERRORS" every time I click on anything. The only thing that doesn't throw up an error is Firefox ESR.
I am trying to decide now, do I want to give TDE another shot, or go back to LXDE?
I am in the process of salvaging my data and backing it up to nextcloud now.

Hi Chris,
Is it possible you're now using an old $HOME with a different UID?

konq or konqueror ?
Anyway, I'd suggest you make a clean install --> backup your /home/, blkdiscard /dev/sda, basic installation withour any DE, install TDE, configure TDE for your new user (do not copy the old /home), chown new_user /old/home, move over what ever you need - but stay away from the .trinity folder and any .dot-files you did not configure yourself.
Last not: use devuan instead of debian, that will keep you clear of systemd madness.
