I use ark very offen and would like to open archive files with special editors for example php-files with geany. When I select the file and use the function "open with", select geany it will be open with geany. But when I check the checkbox to make the selected tool the default for this type of file ark didn't remember this settings and allway show the files with the internal viewer.

Is there a trick to change this behavior - as it was in old kde 3.5? Many thanks for your suggestions
