Hey all,
I'm guessing the Wiki changed or something? I tried to log in, it said my account didn't exist. I created a new account with the same credentials, it logged me into my old account. It said I needed to confirm my email address (same one I use here), email never showed up. After an hour I asked it to resend, it said it did. After another ~3 hours now, neither has shown up.
What do?

Call your ISP and see if they've changed something. Another possibility is that you've changed something, like your router?

Huh? I'm talking about the TDE Wiki...
https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/Trinity_Desktop_Environment
What does anyone's ISP have to do with that?

Exactly, and just how does it verify that you are you? Among other data is your ip address, and anything that changes that is going to throw up additional are you "you" checks.

How your ISP determines your assigned ip is part of dhcp which your router uses to obtain an ip address from your ISP. Change the router, which changes its MAC address, and you'll get a different ip. I have two routers in case one gets a tummy ache. In order to maintain a fixed address when somebody clicks on the web link in my sig, I've had to clone the MAC of the main router into the MAC of the backup router. I am not paying for a dynamic registration, and haven't for 15 years.
I'm not saying thats your problem, but it would be close to the top of my list of things to check if something went toes up.

I believe the Wiki is expecting a login, not an IP check. Michael did not have a login and so requested a new account but he received neither the original validation email nor a resend.
Slávek checked the mail logs and provided the delivery timestamps to Michael's mail provider (inet-design.com). Therefore Michael needs to check his spam folder and if they are not there ask inet-design.com sysadmins what happened to the emails they accepted.

Thank you Slávek, et al.,
I’ve owned inet-design.com for ~25 years, so I’d need to look in the mirror for its sysadmin ;)
I get over 1,000 emails a day, so, truthfully the send timestamp(s) were a great help.

Stop being a putz and check which Kmail filter is messed up. Everything TDE is suppose to go into one folder, but an old (like 8 years ago) filter was catching the odd non [trinity-users] emails and stuffing it into a sub-folder. Found some old mails from Kate and Slávek too (which I never replied back too :( , and belated apologies!)
And, apparently I have an account on #trinity-desktop, who knew!, does that still exist?
Fixed now, Best All, and Thanks!, Michael

Hi Michael,
at the beginning of March, the wiki was migrated to a new server. While only data was migrated, user accounts were not migrated (Tim was not available to handle the database dump).
I see two emails and two successful deliveries in the server log:
