Hi!
Here is a great collection of wonderful wallpapers, which are creative-common licensed: http://www.ravewallpapers.com They are a great addition for your computer, especially if you work in an office without windows to look outdoor.
I found it on kde-look.org
Maybe it would be a great way to refresh the collection of wallpapers released with TDE, which starts to get a little old.
If someone is interested in it, I can choose some of them, so they could be part of TDE R14. Maybe a new default wallpaper could be choosen in that for the upcoming R14?
Have a nice day! -Alexandre

When I was looking through the available "-trinity" packages for my blog post last night, I noticed that there was no "trinity-desktop-all" or package to that effect.
There were several "artwork" or "theme" type packages that had not been installed by default, and I think they should be. There are so many Trinity-DE packages that are not installed by default, I was quite surprised. New users are not going to know all the wonderfullness and hard work that Trinity is putting into keeping the best of all Linux desktops alive (in my personal opinion). :^)

I don't undersatnd this. Anyone who attempts to edit the desktop is offered a choice of a huge number of desktop wallpapers just a mouse-click away.

Ok, what I think he was talking about is that he thinks that more artwork package should be installed by default. I'd say yes and no at the same time on this one: Yes, it is nice to have access to all this artwork and No, it can start to take a lot of disk space and network bandwidth to download.
What I was talking about is that maybe 5-10 wallpapers from the www.ravewallpapers.com could be included by default to replace (and refresh) the little amount of default wallpapers provided stock with TDE.
Also, maybe another stock wallpaper could be choosen in that? Something blue without too much details to see, in the spirit of KDE 3 maybe?
