I have a new install of Debian Squeeze & TDE 3.5.13, gave up on trying to upgrade from 3.5.12 > 3.5.13.
I am having issues with LO, anyone else ?
I installed Libreoffice 3.3.4 deb packages from Libroffices's web site. LO starts , I have the screen with the various components listed, selecting 'open document' doesn't bring up a the open document dialog box. I can open one of the apps, but no 'open doc dialog box' again.
Frustrating because everything works in TDE 3.5.12 & my Virtualbox instances.

I suspect LibreOffice is attempting to use the Gnome open/save dialogs. Try disabling native file picker support in LibreOffice and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks,
My problem was i did not have the open/save dialogs> 'use LO dialogs' check box.
I purged LO and re-installed, v 3.3.4. Now I have the 'Use LO Dialogs' check box. I get a 'file open dialog' with LO dialogs is selected and none with it un-selected.
Not very enlightening, but it worked.
There does seem to be an issue with LO and the the 'open/save dialogs' feature being present. Google suggests it happens elsewhere.
