running kdict, either as the widget in kicker or from the command line, segfaults. from the commandline it reports this:
~$ [kcrash] TDECrash: Application 'kdict' crashing... ICE default IO error handler doing an exit(), pid = 27459, errno = 9
do not know if this us user repairable or a bug.

So I take it DrKonqi (the TDE crash handler) does not pop up? If it does please use the "Report Crash" button.
The "ICE default IO error handler" rings a bell; in any case this is probably not user repairable. If you can get a backtrace I can take a look at it; kdict works fine here so I would need that info to proceed.
Thanks!

For what is worth, kdict starts up fine here as well, although I do not use it (just tried to launch it, no segfault) Cheers Michele
