Since I've reinstalled Trinity on my OpenSuSE Leap 15 machine, Konqueror
(kfmclient openProfile filemanagement) sometimes crashes when I move the
cursor over the entry for a PDF file (any PDF file). If I'm quick enough, I
can right-click and select Open With... kPDF.)
Tonight I tried to send the crash report that results to Trinity, but it just
hangs there, 'waiting to connect...' How can I get that info into your
hands?

I guess I don't understand enough about the way Trinity is packaged to use
these tools. I'm trying to see if the fix(es) for the konqueror/pdf crashes
have made it into the OpenSuSE repositories, but there is no mention of
either of these components in these lists, nor of the packages
(trinity-konqueror and trinity-pdf) that contain them; nor is there any date
information there.

use these tools. I'm trying to see if the fix(es) for the konqueror/pdf
crashes have made it into the OpenSuSE repositories, but there is no
mention of either of these components in these lists, nor of the packages
(trinity-konqueror and trinity-pdf) that contain them; nor is there any
date information there.

- - unstable (R14.1.0 development)
- - r14.0.x (which is R14.0.6 development).
The pdf fix will be in r14.0.x but not in stable.

Kate) from the R14.1.x repo, without upgrading everything?

That does not seem to be a good idea. Between R14.0.x and R14.1.x there
may be changes in API as well as ABI. This could be a cause for trouble.
If you want a stable system and also new fixes, the r14.0.x repository is
the right way.
