Hi,
According to the manual for korganizer, I can add another calendar ("resource") to my view as follows: Procedure 3.1. Adding a New KOrganizer Resource If the resource view is not available on KOrganizer's sidebar, choose the Settings->Sidebar->Show Resource View menu item to display it.
However, when I go to Settings->Sidebar there is no "Show Resource View" there.
This is TDE 14.1.1 running on Slackware64.
Can someone who uses korganizer (or wants to fire it up) tell me if they see a resource view anywhere.
Thanks. Jim
Hello,
It works for me. You can also add another calendar via the Resources module of the Control Centre.

Thanks very much for checking.

Perhaps I have something seriously misconfigured, or perhaps there is something missing in the Slackware port, because I find nothing useful when running TDE's kcontrol.
Any Slackware users reading this who would care to chime in?
Jim

Thanks for the image and the impromptu Russian (?) lesson.
With that I was able to partially solve my problem.
For anyone interested, or who might be able to enlighten me about this design decision, read on...
I wanted to look at an old archived set of entries, and thought I would create a new calendar (File/new), add the old archive file as a resource to that calendar, and then delete the calendar when done. However, in the new calendar, there is no "Resource View" in Settings/Sidebar (whereas it is there in my old calendar).
At first glance, this fails to achieve the law of least astonishment, but perhaps if I knew why this made sense, it wouldn't.
Anyone care to comment on whether their system shows "Resource View" for the sidebar in a new calendar?
Thanks. Jim

It was Bulgarian, but anyway you could just say Cyrillic. I respect Russia and I love all my Slavic brothers and sisters from, although some of them betrayed orthodoxy and the Cyrillic script. But it is getting off topic.
I just wonder why it was not activated by default.
