I have a few questions re Kmail included with TDE, but the Kmail web site doesn't seem to address.
* 1. Does Kmail allow multiple accounts?
* 2. Does Kmail have an option to view full (or raw) e-mail headers? (I use full headers in Thunderbird to detect spam.)
* 3. When Kmail creates an account for the first time (when I tried it in Fedora under native KDE), it also wants to create a 'wallet' to store passwords. Is there a way to make that 'wallet' optional? Thunderbird doesn't use one (as far as I know).
Thanks in advance.

Hello, Edward.
@1: Yes. KMail allows multiple accounts and multiple identities to be set up.
@2: Yes! In fact there are many different header themes included, and one of them shows the full e-mail headers.
@3: The TDEWallet/KWallet functionality is, if I remember correctly, optional both in KDE and TDE. In TDE you can just click "Cancel" when the Wallet creation dialog appears to skip this step.
But keep in mind, if you do not create a wallet then KMail will store your passwords as *clear text*. This might not be what you want to do. TDEWallet permits you to store all system passwords in one place, so you might consider it as an option...
I might be wrong, but I think Thunderbird actually uses Gnome Keyring (which is roughly an equivalent to the Wallets system) which gets unlocked on login.
Hope my answers were helpful.
Yours, Mavridis Philippe

Yes - if you mean read mail from several accounts. I currently use more than a dozen, including an outlook account.
You can configure Identitiesm sending accounts, sending account.
Settings -> Configure knail
(I use full headers in Thunderbird to detect spam.)

Yes. View -> headers -> all headers

Just answer this with return, and kmail will store your passwords without (as far as I know) using kwallet
Thanks in advance.
You're welcome
