Using apt or apt-get, package name tab completion works as expected on ttys, but not in Konsole. Is this just me? just Trixie? just Debian? other distros?

Works for me in various Debians, except if I use "su" without "-".
Are you using "su", instead of "su -" or a root konsole?

Root TDE session. Test installation. No regular users. So, the main menu selection was simply new Konsole originally, and which is automatically reopened by session restore. If I open an extra tab "new root shell", then completion works in it only.

In KDE3 Konsole, tab completion works as expected.
