It will warn you that the certificates are invalid - don't worry! the nightly build certificate is broken and this is a known issue. Thanks for that info. Is it safe to do a full "dist-upgrade" ? Are there any known compatability issues with the older packages or can just selected packages be installed? Although 3.5.12 is actually running very nicely I do like to test new stuff... I'm especially pleased to hear the kdesu bug is fixed David

Thanks. That was quick, did a full dist-upgrade, all looks good so far! and.... kdesu is working normally
