David Rankin was developing new PKGBUILDS for Trinity, I'd check out the arch wiki page on trinity (but fyi, david hasn't been seen for months)

Thanks Calvin. That might explain a few things. I didn't realise AUR was so out of date. I took all the instructions from the wiki.. but there is normally a note to say when something is out of date.

I may look at building it from source if I thought it would all work ok at the end :)
