Forgive the blunt, almost diminuitive and memetic-sounding subject line, but for some
reason -- at least on Debian bookworm -- the Fahrenheit windeco isn't showing up as an
option despite even a clean install of 14.1.2 and confirmation that I did install the
package.
What's going on there?

Hi Graham (or Hunter?),
it is not a blunt question at all! We realized after the release of R14.1.2, that due to
an oversight, the Fahrenheit
windows decorations (and the tde-style-polyester too) are not loaded correctly when using
the r14.1.x branch (hence
R14.1.2). It works with master branch, due to some changes between master and r14.1.x.
We have already fixed the issue and we have just today discussed internally on making an
update build with the patch in
order to make those decorations available, rather than waiting 6 months till R14.1.3
release.
We will let the mailing list and Mastodon channel know when the new (fixed) packages are
avaiable.
