Debian Wheezy, TDE R14
I have the tdepim meta-package installed. I just noticed that the calendar no longer is available.
Error dialog box pops up, no other info, or is there a Trinity specific error log somewhere?

You could try looking in ~/.xsession_errors to see if anything shows up.
What is the exact command you are running?
Thanks!

I use Kontact, view the calendar from the list of icons in the left frame.
Hmmm... the kdesktop_lock issue is back, I did not notice it since rarely reboot.
Tonite, however, the session is crashiing, dropping back to login, TDM. The following is a snippet from .xsession-errors after I boot into Wmaker to figure this out.
Seems like I am the only one with R14 issues. Two things standout, to me, 3.5.13.2 worked flawlessly, Wmaker works fine.

I don't think anyone else is having problems with kdesktop_lock; it is a core system component and I am concerned that it is unstable at all.
Overall, we are working to correct any remaining issues before R14 release. 3.5.13.2 is the second stable release update of the 3.5.13 series and one would expect it to be extremely stable especially in comparison with the rolling development release (R14).

There does appear to be a problem in kdesktop_lock, but the posted trace does not contain enough information to debug the crash. Can you install tdebase-trinity-dbg and recreate the session crash, then post the output?
Thank you for your testing and patience as we work through these issues!

The above code is from .xsession-errors, it is repeated over and over. It is from using Wmaker as my window manager, ksmserver no longer is stable enought to use..crashes back to the TDM login.
I installed tdebase-trinity-dbg, when I finish my current project, I will boot back to TDE and see what error messages I can provide. All the Trinity apps work, it seems to only the x-session.
The kdesktop_lock issue started awhile ago..whenever I first posted, the calendar issue just started, from an upload two? days ago. I have a backup workstation, same issues. A Vbox vm does not get the kdesktop_lock errors but the missing calendar is prevalent in all installs.
Peace,
Greg

Aha, it could be due to a recent change KNewStuff => TDENewStuff. Some packages waiting to rebuild - and this applies equally tdepim. You may need to just wait - now is builder busy by koffice, tdepim will then follow.
