I'm trying to create a TDE build environment. I'm using old notes and the wiki.
I seem to recall there was a separate kuickshow package. Not the one included in tdegraphics. Was the separate package dropped? If so when?
Thanks.

Looks like the tarball was dropped between 14.0.13 and 14.1.0:
https://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/releases/R14.0.13/main/applica...
https://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/releases/R14.1.0/downloads.htm...
Is the Debian package some kind of legacy package? Or am I missing something?
Thanks.

I'm not sure but I think those packages were older KDE3 packages and were dropped with 14.1
kuickshow was always part of tdegraphics IMO
Hi Darrell,
previously, there was manually maintained to make the code in a separate repository identical to the tdegraphics code. Because it was unnecessary extra work, separate repository were removed from the tree.
The kuickshow deb package is now being built by tdegraphics.

Makes sense. :)

Ah, so unique to Debian packaging. I can still get the tool using DBUILD_KUICKSHOW=ON in the tdegraphics script.
All fine. I was only curious what happened to the separate package.
