It sounds like this is where your problem starts. It's not a problem I have seen when using Debian and it's not a TDE problem but hopefully the Debian people can find a solution for you.

TDE related questions on the debian list have historicly been ignored. I'll have to see if they can tell me how to do a no gui text install. But

first, stash the trinity.list file and the updated keyfile deb some place that will survive the bare metal reinstall. I can't install anything from the

repo list until I update the keyfile, the one on your web page has expired

or ? IDK.

It should be updated to be the new one in the repo.
