Running apt-get update returns the following: ... Fetched 9,539 kB in 1min 17s (123 kB/s) W: Failed to fetch http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/trinity-r14.0.0/debian/dists/j… Hash Sum mismatch W: Failed to fetch http://mirror.ppa.trinitydesktop.org/trinity/trinity-builddeps-r14.0.0/debi… Hash Sum mismatch E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead. The files haven't failed to download and they are the same files I receive when downloading them manually. /var/lib/apt/lists and /var/cache/apt rebuild with the same contents and error. The only thing that seems odd is that the builddeps Package date is 23-Nov-2015.

While for the major platforms (amd64, i386) and the most widely used distributions have packages for the new release available immediately through cache on VPS, for other platforms and distributions you have to wait for synchronization of mirror sites. No problem. Is the error because /trinity-r14.0.0... is current (28-Feb-2016) and /trinity-builddeps-r14.0.0... is old (23-Nov-2015)?

No problem. Is the error because /trinity-r14.0.0... is current (28-Feb-2016) and /trinity-builddeps-r14.0.0... is old (23-Nov-2015)?

This is only part of the problem. It is essential that 'Release' file, which is now on the mirrors from the Sun, 28 Feb 2016 6:34:13 UTC, while the newest is Sun, 28 Feb 2016 22:13:26 UTC.
