Thanks very much. Is there a repository of these packages that I can add to my sources.list? (Sorry -- I'm late to the game!)

Many thanks . . . I suppose I ought to use "precise" instead of "squeeze"?

Yes, of course. Expect very slow download because it is from the master server, and now there are more of those who download.

I did indeed notice -- it's downloading now. Thank you very much.
Is this a repository I should leave on my sources.list? I got a GPG error -- overrode it, so no immediate problem.

To add gpg key: sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net --recv-keys 80479E11
With this repository you can expect updates more frequently than in the stable version. With this repository you gain updates for stable version before it is officially released.
List of changes from 3.5.13.1 is continuously (with some delay) updated on http://www.trinitydesktop.org/wiki/bin/view/Documentation/Releases_3_5_13_2_...

I use Squeeze! I would recommend it - with a shift to Wheezy when TDE 3.5.14 is released.
I like Debian. Obviously, if you prefer Ubuntu, then you should use Ubuntu, but don't worry about the name of Slavek's repository.
In answer to a later question, I have Slavek's repository permanently in my sources list, and am therefore running 3.5.13.2 in the course of ordinary upgrades.
