getting a issue when trying to install kde 3 on 9.10. (fresh install 9.10 with gnome)
added the repos listed for 9.04 get errors when trying to install the kubuntu-desktop-kde3
package

New subject: [kubuntu-kde3.5-users] 9.10 with kde3
That makes sense; you will need to have only the repositories for Karmic
listed in your sources.list file. For example:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kde3-maintainers/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/kde3-maintainers/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
Remove all references to Intrepid or Jaunty.

I suppose the reason why people try to install the Intrepid version of KDE3 in Karmic is
that http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net/install.html does not mention the special Karmic
repository. Is this intended because it might be unstable or did you just forget to update
the page?

no luck as it then did conflict whit kde4 but jaunty/intrepid repo is
working fine for me whit karmic repo to, so i have all 3 repos active

Karmic is still unreleased, so I didn't even think about updating the
page. I suppose it wouldn't hurt--I'll just put a large BETA warning
right next to it. :-)
