gpartedbin-gtk-tqt-application: No such file or directory.

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libthread_db.so.1".
84 ../sysdeps/unix/syscall-template.S: No such file or directory.
i just realized that this is probably the first time i tried to run gparted since the
"upgrade" to ubuntu 16.04. any idea what packages i'm missing here? i have
gpartedbin -- /usr/sbin/gpartedbin -- but nothing with gtk or tqt modifiers.

you need to install dbgsym package or equivalent that will provide the
debugging symbols missing
$ apt-cache search libc6 | grep debug
libc6-dbg - GNU C Library: detached debugging symbols

If you are have a problem starting gparted, edit menu and check box to
start as different user and save. Now start gparted from menu and it
will ask for root passwd and start normal.
