This is on David Hare's Exe Debian Wheezy.
The Add Printer Wizard stalls on the window that lists all the brands &
models. The window opens, but never populates with the lists, no matter how
long it sits. Tried on 2 different computers with the same result. Any
ideas? Is there another way to add a printer? I don't know how else to do
it, except maybe from XFCE.

I use my web browser, enter 'localhost:631' in the address bar, This is
an interface to cups, which is what tdeprint or kdeprint uses.
Does not answer why the Add Printer Wizard is not working. I used to
use the kdeprint stuff, worked well years ago. Switched
to 'localhost:631' for some reason long ago, no issues.

IMO there is not much point in the TDE stuff existing at all (especially
if it doesn't work properly)
