Wheezy amd64 Slavek repo.
key binding 'ctl+a' used to select all messages in a folder, then 'ctl + j' would apply filters to the selected messages.
'ctl + a" not longer selects all messages. What happened?

Thank you for that most useful piece of information!! By the way, I am using KMail 1.9.10 on TDE 3.5.13.2. And 'ctl+a' works.

Hmmm. not here, sometimes this means the keybinding is in use elsewhere.
the 'alt+ctl+s' keybinding used to rename the tabs in Konsole, it got switched somewhat recently to another function, why switch default keybindings in use :-( I now know about this phenomenom so it is the firast place I look now, finally..

Change the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+S, I know - this is due to commit bbae7554. However, I know of nothing that should affect Ctrl+A. As with Lisi - for me also Ctrl+A works as expected.

I was unaware of the Ctrl+Alt+S conflict when I introduced the global shortcut to activate the screensaver. If desired, I can change the screensaver activation sequence to something else, but I would need help finding an intuitive and non-conflicting shortcut to change it to!

Scroll Lock might be a little confusing, because Ctrl+Alt+S == screen saver only runs without locking. To lock is used Ctrl+Alt+L.
Slavek --
How common is it to want to invoke the screensaver sometimes with locking and sometimes without locking, on the same computer? If you never use locking, can you not still configure the screensaver to not lock, and then use the same Ctrl+Alt+L ? Or does Ctrl+Alt+L now cause locking, even if the screensaver was configured to not lock?
Thanks- Douglas

I myself often use in different cases both options.
Yes, Ctrl+Alt+L causes locking, even if the screensaver was configured to not lock.

A new version of Exe GNU/Linux ("unofficial" TDE + Debian Wheezy live image) is available:
http://exegnulinux.net/downloads/wheezy/exegnulinux_4.1.iso
Apart from the newest (stable) Wheezy and TDE from Slavek's Wheezy repo the installer, snapshot/remaster utility, translations, boot menu and more have improvements and some new features.

Thanks Lisi and Curt. At least two people on this mailing list (and others who are not) have some interest.
I note the TDE website's front page has links to live images of only Ubuntu, Fedora and pclinuxos.
The Debian images (available for some time, still maintained and updated often) have never been and are still not even mentioned.

Thanks Tim. I updated the download URL "readme" file to make clear these images are "unofficial"
If this helps get TDE wider support it's a good result.

I have your version one desktop, one netbook and two laptops, all machines I currently use (although not simultaneously).

Thanks Felmon, that's especially important to know it runs on machines other than the few I can test on.
Looking forward to the final TDE 3.5.13.2, a new image will follow, although it seems mostly good already.

But that 'S' is very intuitive for Screen Saver.
Although I had long been accustomed to this keyboard shortcut in the console, I would suggest, rather change the keyboard shortcut to rename session in the Konsole - for example Ctrl+Alt+R.

Note: Ctrl+Alt+R cannot be used for Konsole - this sequence has already used in Klipper.

Some time ago here solved the conflict on shortcut Ctrl+Alt+S: start the screen saver × rename session in console.
A short time ago it occurred to me for rename session in console change the keyboard shortcut to Ctrl+Shift+R. First, fits well with the 'Rename' => 'R'. And next Ctrl+Shift fits well with the Ctrl+Shift+N for new session.
What do you think?
