This is immediately a crash and Konqueror closes.
Is it a bug ?
seems like, because it should not crash for whatever reason.
useful would be to tell us how to reproduce it.
are you trying to copy on the same drive, what are the permissions of the
file and directories (source, target) etc.
If you don't mind of course :)

I started having that problem a lot when I was using an older version of
Trinity. I never spent much time trying to determine the cause, and when I
upgraded, Konqueror stopped crashing, problem solved.
In the meanwhile, I would say, from my experience, that it seemed to be the
act itself (of manually cutting and pasting) that caused Konqueror to crash
for me; this may not be the same for you.
My workarounds (before upgrading):
1. right-click on item, choose either "copy to" or "move to" from
menu. This
is a bit unwieldy, as when you stumble into other menu options, you will be
given a choice of practically every location in your system and/or local
network; then, if you slip for a moment, you might succeed in transferring
your item to some unknown place. So it may take a few tries to get used to
how this feature works -- and I myself don't like it so much.
2. Also, files can be transferred by command-line, but this is also awkward. I
created a couple of ready-made commands for "copy to" or "move to",
but they
are nothing special. You probably already know how to do this kind of thing.
Best guess is that you need to upgrade (or perhaps downgrade), as it it
probably only a bug in your version of either TDE or your OS (ubuntu, debian,
whatever).
