Hi all,
sorry, it's me again for another problem. though I installed gtk-qt-engine-kde3 and configured it with kcontrol to be used for gtk2 applications, nothing happens, all my gtk2 apps still have the default gtk2 look. Anyone knows where the problem might come from ?
Thanks in advance,
Denis

Hi Denis,
Just as a test, try logging in to KDE with a brand new user, and set up the GTK look in kcontrol, then log out and log back in. If that works, then there is a stale GTK theme configuration file in your .kde3 directory that needs to be hunted down and purged.
If not, let me know, because that would be a new bug in gtk-qt-engine-kde3.
Tim
Hi Tim,
and thanks for your answer. I tried logging in to KDE with a brand new user and it worked ! So I tried removing all .gtk* files in my home directory and configure again gtk look in kcontrol but it still does not work. I guess there must be something left somewhere I should remove, but what ? Do you have any idea ?
Regards,
Denis

Hi again Tim,
Finally, I did a full cleaning of my home directory and the problem is solved. Thanks for your help.
Denis.
